Jody has been teaching my adult son for the past two years. I have seen much growth in him in regards to his ability to sound out words and now reading.
Jody has a curriculum that is reared to teaching all the phonics sounds and putting them into words and sentences. She is a gifted teacher and works with each student on their own level. She is patient but persistent in gentle technique that bring out the best in each child. Jody’s curriculum builds on previously learned sounds, and by repetition the child is able to add new words and meanings to his/her vocabulary.
Beginning reading books follow the lessons and continue to build on the skills learned. I am amazed and proud of my son and his reading skills. Grandma is also amazed at his ability to read and talk.
I highly recommend Jody to any parent or student who wants to improve their vocabulary and reading skills with her curriculum and her skill in helping the student to make progress.
